We took 50 members of the Talent Is Timeless community—all over the age of 50—plus their loved ones, into the legendary Studio 2 at Abbey Road Studios to help record a song that none of us will ever forget.
The song? “Roadsigns” The writer? Jamie Manning, from Boston, Massachusetts. The moment? Unforgettable.
🎶 The Story Behind “Roadsigns”
Jamie’s song tells the story of a father who discovers his child has special needs—and can’t cope. He gets in the car and drives away, unsure, afraid, heartbroken. The lyrics trace his thoughts as he escapes: the fears, the doubts, the shame, the love.
And then… he turns around. He goes back.
The song is a journey through human struggle and redemption—and when Jamie sang it in that room, with 50 of us backing him as his choir, the emotion was overwhelming.
There were tears. There was silence. There was music that said something real.
