Lyrics
The call of the void
That fleeting urge for danger
An impulse to jump or swerve
Self preservation takes control
What is the what if
What is normal about self destruction
No intention, no desire
Are you on a cliff
Or is it a bridge or balcony
Maybe it’s just the thrill
Hopefully just the thought
What is the what if
What is normal about self destruction
No intention, no desire
This simply isn’t running with scissors
Not using your turn signal when changing lanes
Point yourself in the right direction
And get yourself sorted
That fleeting urge for danger
An impulse to jump or swerve
Self preservation takes control
What is the what if
What is normal about self destruction
No intention, no desire
Are you on a cliff
Or is it a bridge or balcony
Maybe it’s just the thrill
Hopefully just the thought
What is the what if
What is normal about self destruction
No intention, no desire
This simply isn’t running with scissors
Not using your turn signal when changing lanes
Point yourself in the right direction
And get yourself sorted

Bio
Primarily a drummer that writes songs in the rock/alternative 1980’s style. I play guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals and have a recording studio in my house. I have been playing in bands for 45 years starting at the age of 13 as a drummer in a cover band from my neighborhood called Burning Lumber playing songs from the Who, the Kinks, the Yardbirds, the Animals and I was able to convince them to play 1 Clash song and the only reason they agreed was because it was a Sonny Curtis song, I Fought the Law. My next band was High Risk and that is when I met one of my closest friends and collaborator, Paul. Also a cover band playing U2, the Cult, the Outfield, the Romantics and focused on 1980’s post punk rock. After High Risk, Paul introduced me to his childhood friends and asked me to audition for their original band, Carnal Knowledge. There was 6 originals that we recorded in a studio. Post CK, another childhood friend of Paul’s was already playing in a punk band but was a great song writer and we formed a new band, Boo Radley. We recorded 4 songs and gigged regularly including some covers from REM, David Bowie, the Stooges, and Johnny Thunders. My best original band was also with Paul, Julian’s Bane where we recorded 10 songs, regularly gigged and covered the Church, Jefferson Airplane, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin and REM. I still play in a cover band covering the Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Violent Femmes, Oasis, Tom Petty and the Black Crowes
