I Broke Her Heart (So She Broke Mine) by Gerald LeNoir

Lyrics

Wanda was a good woman, she was good to me
I was a wild one, as wild as I could be
We got married when we both were very young
I took my wedding vows before my fling was flung

Wanda wasn’t havin’ it, she drew the line
I broke her heart, so she broke mine

Yes, she drew the line
I broke her heart, so she broke mine

I ran the streets, chased women and shot dice
I thought I was slick but Wanda warned me twice
My best friend told me but I just couldn’t see
That if I didn’t do right, she’d be leaving me

I went way too far, I crossed the line
I broke her heart, so she broke mine

Oh, I crossed the line
I broke her heart, so she broke mine

Wanda found another man, a guy that I know
She said she was through and that I had to go
The third time was the last time, her last straw
Like a common criminal, I broke Wanda’s law

Now I’m all alone and cryin’ all the time
I broke her heart, so she broke mine

Oh, I’m cryin’ all the time
I broke Wanda’s heart, so she broke mine
I broke her heart, so she broke mine
