The reflection defies you

Not the person within
It doesn’t define you

Your talent is timeless

Through my minds eye
The exit door’s waiting
Getting closer each time
But we live till we die, so be all you can be!

Bio
David A. Moses lives in Ontario Canada and is of First Nations and Welsh background.
David considers himself a singer first and songwriter second but is finding lyric writing another exciting tool when inspired.
Except for a quick and brief successful singing start with bands and starting to write songs in the late 70s and early 80”s David never truly pursued his musical abilities, gifts or desires due to a lack of faith and belief in himself as well as no support and low self worth, even though he definitely had the talent.
David also put music aside to return to school and then raise a family, (to be the father he never had). However several things changed in about 2018 that caused music to start tapping on his shoulder; COVID, the threat of nuclear war in Ukraine and his daughter who developed her own vocal talent, which inspired him to dust off the songs, instruments and voice.
In addition, David is a former TV and radio broadcaster, David released a single in 2022 called “Reclamation Blues” that reached number 17 on the Canadian Indigenous Music Countdown. Plus, he released an EP of original material in 2020, available on all music platforms.
