Lyrics
My One
I feel so very confident
I am absolutely sure
As I walk down this aisle
The man waiting for me is My One
My One who set me as his trophy
And bragged to anyone who’d listen
I love my wife, she is my life
And his eyes would always glisten
My One would tell me daily,
and I can hear him still
I still love you Boo,
Always have, always will
My One sometimes made me crazy
Why can’t you behave
My One sometimes seemed my life’s
Purpose was his soul to save
My One had the most contagious laugh
His jokes were way too lame
But you couldn’t help but join him
And be laughing all the same
He would tell me daily,
and I can hear him still
How I love you Baby,
Always have, always will
My One was the only one
Who could ever make me cry
I’d get mad – a hug, a kiss
Then couldn’t remember why
My One loved to gamble
And we moved from place to place
If we weren’t living on the edge
We were taking up too much space
My One would tell me daily,
and I can hear him still
I love my Boo,
Always have, always will
My One would say I’m a lucky man
To have me for his wife
I used that as my power
For our entire married life
He ‘d say I don’t deserve you
I let him believe it was true
I should have told him it was I who won that hand of hold-em! I regret
I never told him – it was I not you
My One was the only One
Who ever won my heart
And that will always remain the same
Now that we’re apart
My One would tell me daily,
and I can hear him still
I still love you Boo, always have, always will
