Lonely, in a room full of people
How can I not feel this way
I try to find someone
To make my days warmer
And then I let her walk away
We could, have been so good together
The place I could have stayed forever
If only I could see her now
In our hearts the things that matter
Hit the ground in pieces shatter
If only I could hold her now
Lonely, in a world full of people
How can I not feel this way
I tried to find the girl
To make my life better
And I wonder what she did today
There could never be another
Patient friend and easy lover
If only I could see her now
In our hearts the things that matter
Hit the ground in pieces shatter
If only I could hold her now
We are both alone together
It makes no sense to say forever
If only I could see her now
In our hearts the things that matter
Hit the ground in pieces shatter
If only I could hold her now
My name is Colin Wilson and I am 63 years of age.
I emigrated to the UK from Australia in 1993 and was a member of a successful tribute band from then until 2016.
In recent years I have been writing and recording songs for my own pleasure in a small bedroom studio.
