The internal rhymes really helped push the pace along which reflected the relentless nature of the theme. I like that the story didn’t resolve as when you’re in this phase of life it stays like this for what seems like ages.
It really spoke to me as a working mum, always feeling like I’m failing but needing to keep going even though I’m crying out for comfort. I think a lot of other listeners would connect deeply to this lyric too.
