Each and every night,
You know I’m being torn.
All these Demons clapping me,
Like thunder in the storm.

Running through the hallways,
That reside within my brain.
I know I left an open door ,
To hide from all the pain.

It’s beyond the silver lining,
And deeper than the skin.
And though we wait for rescue,
The answers lie within.
It’s deep within each person,
Only you can turn the key.
Unchain the locks,
That surround the box,
And set your spirit free.

Just around the corner,
Down the hallway, on the right.
I’m running out of options,
It may be time to fight.

I close the door behind me,
But the demon comes right in.
I turn and pull my iron,
And he just starts to grin.

Short Solo

He takes a big step forward,
And then he starts to glow.
If he just takes one more step,
Then, off his head, I’ll blow.

The vision clears as the cobwebs fall,
The cleansing of my soul.
Through years of pain and wretched grief
I’ll finally get to grow.
