Lyrics
[Verse 1]
I’ve forgotten to dream
I’ve forgotten it seems
Seemed easier to forget
Seemed i had no regrets
Time truly flies
You forget to realize
What was that thing
That meant everything
[Chorus]
Cause i’m, too late to dream
Just, too late it seems
How dare I dream
How dare I dream
[Verse 2]
Did i fail to reach
Did i fail to breach
All the doubts and fears
That stood my way
And can i say
Can i still pray
Is it too late for me
Is it too late for me
[Chorus]
Cause i’m, too late to dream
Just, too late it seems
How dare I dream
How dare I dream
[bridge instrumental]
[Verse 3]
What would my children say
I’ll dread that someday
They’ll forget to dream
They’ll forget what it means
I have to show them how
How to dream somehow
Fear is just a thing
I can do anything
[Chorus]
And I’ll be too brave to doubt
Just, too brave to tap out
I will dare to dream
I dare to dream!
I DARE TO DREAM!
I’ve forgotten to dream
I’ve forgotten it seems
Seemed easier to forget
Seemed i had no regrets
Time truly flies
You forget to realize
What was that thing
That meant everything
[Chorus]
Cause i’m, too late to dream
Just, too late it seems
How dare I dream
How dare I dream

Bio
I’m 53 years old and have never written a song before until late October 2026 when I had a very emotional night thinking about my Mom who’s 87 and has Alzheimers and could not remember us anymore. I remember thinking that night that I might grow old having memory loss as well and I will not remember my kids anymore. So I thought to write something while I still can to give to my kids which eventually blossomed into a song. That was my very first and I thought also my last song.
But then I tried to write and write more songs and found myself feeling joy writing songs. So I have been continually writing and learning more about songwriting and trying to get my songs out for others to hear them.
