Lyrics
I Got You by Linda Leah Korn (AKA Leah, Linda Ross)
It’s okay if you fee afraid
Everybody’s got their limits
Fear can be a friend in a way
Teaches us to use our courage
So many time I’ve had to hold on to
A hand I didn’t know was there
If there’s one thing I can show you
It’s confidence even when you’re scared
Go ahead I got you,
I got you
You can let go and I’ll watch you
I’ll watch over you
No matter what you do
I got you
When you’re riding waves in the ocean
When the hill that you’re climbing gets rough
When your foot slips and you feel like you’re fallin
Hang on tight ; that will be enough
you can always reach out when you need to
I hope you know you’ll find me there
If there’s one thing I can teach you
It’s confidence even when you’re scared
Go ahead I got you
I got you
You can let go and I’ll watch you
I’ll watch over you
No matter what you do
I got you
If there’s something that you want to try
I will never be the one to stop you
I’ll be dusting off your wings so you can fly
Go ahead, go ahead
I got you
I got you
You can let go and I’ll watch you
I’ll watch over you
No matter what you do
I got you
It’s okay if you fee afraid

Bio
LEAH (AKA Linda Leah Korn , Linda Ross)- Leah is a piano-based singer/songwriter based in Atlanta, GA. She has been compared to Carol King, Natlie Merchant, Laura Nero, and Elvis Costello, but her diverse influences include, Jazz, Folk, Blues, Classica and spiritual music .. Always musically inclined, she began writing with more vision and purpose after being hospitalized for two months at 17 years old following a serious car accident in which a friend of hers was killed. She later wrote and recorded a song for the driver of the car called “Carolyn” Her first full length unreleased album, NOBODY, was produced in the late 1990’s in part by bassist Michael Visceglia (Suzanne Vega) and multi talented pianist Joseph Simon (Fiona Apple). While she is currently best know as a Grammy Award winning audiobook producer and director, Leah performed widely as Linda Ross around New York and Los Angeles in the 1990’s and got her start performing as a singer/songwriter at the famed Bitter End on Bleecker Street in New York City’s Greenwich Village. She appeared solo and with several bands in New York before moving to Los Angeles where she appeared regularly as a singer/songwriter in coffee houses, the Sunset Strip’s, Roxy and weekly at the famous Cantor’s Kibbutz Room. Leah writes on Piano and Guitar; she has composed background music for audiobooks, has worked as a session singer and piano and voice teacher. She began using her Hebrew name Leah in more recent years and now performs under that name. She took time off of performing to work full time while raising her son over the last 17 years, but her passion for music, writing and performing has never died. She joined the TIST community in Dec. 2024 and is entering her first songwriting contest. She writes with both truth and optimism about relationships, faith and life in search of silver linings, deep meaning and joy. Music is her happy place and her way of expression. Leah and her husband of 20 years have one 17 year old son and currently live in Atlanta, Georgia- where Leah’s passion for songwriting and performing has been reignited.
