Take us to a place where the human race there, hearts of grace bear,
smiles on face share, helpful hands do take care of Humanity
Embrace our purpose here on earth, live the mission of our birth,
to always preserve the glorious worth of Humanity
Strive for a unified community, where hope reigns in perpetuity,
no deprivation insanity, only shared Humanity
Chorus: We pull up, we climb up, together we stand up, we give a hand up, with our lift up you’ll fly
Concern across the nation, sweeping change anticipation, needs human collaboration, together we work dedication for our Humanity
From every situation, none will know discrimination, our mission’s advocation, preparation through education, compassion is our focus for Humanity
This human race, our families face each a different story, from poverty or foreign lands their outstretched hands find glory and a saved Humanity
Chorus: We pull up, we climb up, together we stand up, we give a hand up, with our lift up you’ll fly
With a team of hearts and talent, volunteers and experts all, building houses, making homes, miracles grow, and mountains fall, the winner is Humanity

Hello,
I have hesitated to enter these lyrics because they were written as an Anthem to promote the wonderful non-profit organization that I volunteer for, Habitat for Humanity! Due to the crazy politics in the United States right now, so much of what we are about is being affected. Many of our families are from foreign countries and the fear of deportation exists, so many programs are being defunded, and the cost of goods may put our building supplies out of reach. We need a fight song, an Athem to put our cause front of mind and inspire more donations. I have made my case to the CEO of our Affiliate here in Omaha and she said to “go for it”. I think back on and am inspired by “We are the World” it raised millions! I don’t pretend to make any comparisons here except to the fact of the power of music. It can rise above all that political noise and find a way into your heart. So, here’s me setting myself on fire, with a hope and a prayer, taking a chance to make a difference.

The theme is nice and brings hope for the future. I’d try to make it a little more personal so the listener can connect to it.
