Make it now
Make it soon
Pen a chorus and a verse
Or an intro is that first?
I don’t know often where to start
To get the words to you
If I create just one song
(Maybe) you’ll love me too
Play a chord and a melody
That might just hit the spot
A piano or a booming bass
I’m giving all I’ve got
Please forgive me if I try
Too hard to just get through
To write this one song
And make it just for you
But I’m confused
I might just lose
My thinking isn’t always best
To do what’s right
Still in the fight
Not giving up , Not giving up on us
