When its cold outside, and the frost it bites
Makes your toes and fingers blue
Think about an homeless child
On a street not far from you
When its warm inside by a fires light
Carol singers at your door
Spare a thought for those in need
And the casualties of war
Chorus:
It’s always there, in your heart and mind
To give some love, at Christmas time
These words I say, to all mankind
Just give some love at Christmas time
When the sky at night, it shines so bright
Glistening in the snow
Think about an homeless child
With no food or place to go
When your warm inside, drinking lots of wine
And you can’t eat no more
Spare a thought for those in need
And the casualties of war
Chorus:
It’s always there, in your heart and mind
To give some love, at Christmas time
These words I say, to all mankind
Just give some love at Christmas time
