STILL GET A THRILL by Mark Farrelly

Lyrics

I still get a thrill, when you touch me
My heart still misses a beat
I still get a kiss, when we say goodnight
You still leave me on trembling feet.

I still get a thrill, when you call me
I’m still not sure, what to say
I still hope I’m on your mind sometimes
Even if it’s just for the next day

I still catch a smile in your eyes sometimes
That says you still think about me
I still have to pretend, that we’re just good friends
But there’s something else I can see

I still get a thrill, when I see you
No matter the time or the place
I still seem to smile, a little awkward I know
When I still see that look on your face

I still stumble and fall, when I am with you
I still know there’s something not right
I still feel a magic, whenever I see you
Your eyes still light up the night

I still get a thrill, when you’re near me
Your lips still taste like champagne
I still hope I’ll have your love some day
I still thrill at the sound of your name

I still get a thrill, when you touch me
My heart still misses a beat
I still get a kiss, when we say goodnight
You still leave me on trembling feet.

Bio

Very few writers can match Mark Farrelly’s versatility as a writer. He has spent many years as an Advertising Copywriter, writing and creating standout, award-winning advertising campaigns for TV, radio, print, outdoor, digital, etc
His advertising career included writing several jingles, which demonstrated his talent for both a strong lyric and memorable melody. But that is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his songwriting which spans many genres – pop, blues, country, folk, jazz.
As if this is not enough, Mark has also authored several short stories, a novelette and several poems. And having written 3 short-films to enter Bryan Brown’s Twisted Tales project on the Nine network, Mark is now writing his first feature-length screenplay – Resonance (The Piano Man).
