Whiskey Barrel Street
Okay, this isn't new but it sure fits the bill. A road and an area between Blackburn and Rawtenstall, in Lancashire, called The Grane road. I renamed it Whiskey Barrel Street after it was discovered people were making moonshine whiskey on the moors. The story is in the lyric with other important historical facts.
What a fun song! Great traveling song.
Tapping my toes to this, Robert! I love a story song & this has a great join-along chorus too. And alcohol! ?
Love the fiddle. And the counter melody. A song about alcohol – always a good idea! Like the harmoniy
Fun, toe tapping song with an accompanying story. Love the violin. I can imagine this being played on a porch on a warm evening – with alcohol of course!
Great country vibe. A real toe tapper
This is good fun and energetic. I enjoyed listening to it.
Great how you can get all that sound from a guitar, sitting on a bench. Nice upbeat, sing-along chorus number. Well done!
