Lovely song and production. Great imagery. I didn’t join the smoking gang, but your description took me back there and hearing them talk about it.
Thank you for your comments – most welcome.
All of our posted tracks were recorded during lockdown (my brother Nev and I mainly), at a distance of 150 miles and over the internet. This, as you might suppose, was quite a challenge!
I’ve so enjoyed listening to this, Ant, and such a memorable chorus. I can imagine the whole audience at a folk club joining in and swaying to & fro to it. Love your voice too. It has a special warmth to it.
Thanks for your comments Suzanne – encourages me to do more.
Firstly, love your voice – it is really soothing. All of us oneTiT are of a certain age, and I would imagine we can all relate to this song. ‘Take me back before memory fades’ is a wonderful – but also quite scary – line.
Thanks Phil – really nice to get some feedback.
As a member of the `Peter Pan Generation’, reality is just beginning to encroach.
Lovely comments, Ant….
