Ticks along nicely this. Liked the relaxed tuneful melody and guitar, has a nice story and feel to it. I suspect you of having quite a powerful voice too 😉
I can hear a harmonica coming in on this, another great story song.
Chorus makes me think of Dylan. Nice.
Yes a lovely folky sound and I can imagine harmonica too
Great folky sound Graham and like Ian and Ann, I can also hear a harmonica coming in
Yep, good folk song. I agree, harmonica would fit beautifully.
Good one Graham. Great melody and lyric. I’ve listened to it several times. It has depth. It seems to take on a new persona every time. Good work!
Nothing to do with the song but I really like the sound of your guitar in this, lovely depth in those bass notes (I’m not a guitar player). Really enjoyed it, has a wistful melancholy and some nice lyrical moments. Thanks for sharing
Nice song Graham. Enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed this, so folky! Great Graham!
there’s a lovely descending line in there… I’m a sucker for a descending line. I enjoyed this.
Everyone’s saying they’re wanting a harmonica in your song, Graham, but I’d love to hear a fiddle in it. Travellers’ songs are a strong vein in folk music and this is very enjoyable & skilfully performed too.
Great song Graham. Like others I can imagine this being played in a folk club with all sorts of instruments joining in and a myriad of voices. Nice one.
