Talk To Me Mel Reeves and Julie Meikle

This was a tricky subject matter….just because it's hard to find something new to say.. However, we decided to focus on the importance of talking to each other, both verbal and non verbal. No video from us this month, but look out for a new animation very soon!!

Of idle nothings, with lazy laughter

Talk to me
When shadows stretch across the room
strings play
A harmony of murmured voices

Talk to me
When the darkness creeps all around
Hold me
Inside the comfort of your voice

A sigh a smile a passing glance
Silent words a silent dance
A look a laugh a touch a token
So much said with words unspoken

A sigh a smile a passing glance
Silent words a silent dance
A look a laugh a touch a token
So much said with words unspoken

  1. There I was in a little bar just off the Copa Cabana beach, and Antonio Carlos Jobim is ‘noodling’ in the corner. A sultry dark haired Brazilian woman enters the room and looks straight into my eyes, eyes which say “Talk to Me”.
Great lyrics, wonderful vocals and harmonies, super guitar, the feel of rich dark chocolate, just gorgeous. Thank you.

  2. Comments on Facebook. A beautiful interesting song as always and I love your voice in that lower register.
You two are an inspiration. I have my circle of 5ths poised ready for next month’s challenge. 🤣🤣✌️XXX
