Hi Geoff, This is a very polished number. I like the way the beat seems to mimic a train on its rails, as does the tambourine. I suspect you, like me, like people watching at places like railway stations, which can give us inspiration for songs. Not sure it’s a rant as such, though it does seem a respectful look at humanity. Good song. Cheers.
Lovely observational song, Geoff. I like the little perk into the thoughts of the woman in the kiosk. As Phil says, it’s interesting the way the rhythm echoes the rhythm of the train. Great arrangement. ?
