‘Somewhere Man’

I’d be late for me own funeral! Ha ha! Better late than never.
Here is my little tribute to my absolute musical hero. His melodies and harmonies have given me SO much pleasure over the years. My life would have been so much poorer without him around.

‘Somewhere Man’

Friends gave more than a little help
Maybe one a little more
You met, you bet we all lucked out
And you both knew the score

We get the love that we give out
And in the end that’s what it’s all about

You sang to me for all my life
Those melodies to see me through
Your song saw me through thick and thin
You always came in right on cue

We get the love that we give out
And in the end that’s what it’s all about

You played the game, we played along
And we worked it out together
You’ve made the world a better place (it couldn’t get much worse!)
Your song goes on forever

We get the love that we give out
And in the end that’s what it’s all about

We get the love that we give out
And in the end that’s what it’s all about

  1. Excellent John
Great Beatles vibe to it and nice references in the lyric. Great key change in the middle section too!
Liking the Cherry SG. I think I need one🤔😁✌️☮️🌻
