   A great comfort is creating a fine tune & singing it from the heart. Many of us can relate to the feelings you put over so well in “Rain”. Very convincing delivery although the rain can’t go on for ever, can it? Hope you feel a little sunshine soon. Many thanks for sharing your song.

      Many Thanks for the feedback Christopher. The idea was written down some years ago, after a close friend died and I wrote it on the guitar he had just lent me while the rain was tipping down outside for days. There was a time I could hardly sing it, but yes the rain does (and did) pass and the sun comes out. When I revisited it for this competition, I thought I could add a ray of sunshine at the end, but it felt wrong to do so. It wasn’t true to what I felt back then.
