One Man's Journey
The passage here is the one forced upon people captured in Africa, transported in appalling conditions and forced to be slaves in America.

Good song Paul. I really like the lyrics and blues feel.
Nice work Paul. I could hear someone like Eric Bibb singing this. Great stuff
I always love when history is put into song. Your chord changes and feel of the song perfectly match the story. “One man’s journey….” That whole section is well done. Love this take on passages.
Lovely guitar and use of chords. Graphic account of history from both sides
This is a really relevant take on the Passages theme. I particulalry like the fact that you are not overlooking modern slavery. As ever, I am in total awe of your brilliant guitar style. Cheers.
Always love your quitar playing. I remember reading and watching ‘Roots’. Then we all went to Gambia which made it so much more alive and real. Terrible. And even more terrible that it’s still happening today. Nice one!
Nice one Paul..loved the play with words..not to mention the impressive guitar play..
Really enjoyed this Paul – your lyrics, whether serious or tongue in cheek, are always so effective and love the guitar hooks – great downbeat blues feel.
A well crafted tale of our shameful past! As always your guitar is effortlessly and beautifully bluesy. I thoroughly enjoyed listening
Well-crafted & timely, Paul. “One man’s journey to disaster is another man’s triumphant gain”. I really appreciated listening to this.
