‘On my Own Achord’ – from Geoff Johnson.
I thought as there aren’t many if any at all that have taken the ‘just write a song about chords’ challenge I would oblige.
My entry is about a man sat in his Old clapped out Ford trying to write a song with the most unusual chords. Hmm!!
Some great rhymes here – sonnet and bonnet is classic! Really nice catchy melody, too. My first car was a battered Escort, so I know what you mean! Cheers.
Great witty response Geoff. A real toe tapper. Nice job
Nice and quirky. Well done
Oh goodness – that first verse is exactly how I was feeling at the start of this challenge! Great song – made me feel nostalgic for old clapped out cars….
Some excellent lyrics and rhymes. it put a smile on my face which I need at the moment stuck on the cardio ward in Tameside. Normal service will be reduced early next week.
There was some good fun rhyming in here. It made me smile. I also enjoyed the imagery linking a new set of chords to and old clapped out Ford.
As others have said, fun rhyming scheme linking unusual items & subjects together. Do you mind me asking, do you use band in a box or something like it to put your tunes together?
Nice song, made me smile and very clever.
Thank you Jayne.x
That first verse is a great opener and you express the chord challenge dilemma so humorously. Well done. 👏👏
Great country vibe and production. Well done on your take on the theme.
Like it Geoff – well done
