‘Empty Nest’

I’ve known friends who’s lives have been ruined by addiction. I heard someone say recently that the opposite of addiction is not ‘abstinence’ but ‘connection’. I thought that was such an interesting and profound concept. People often stay with the familiar, even though it is killing them – simply because the unknown is too frightening. This song was just a little message of hope and comfort to anyone that may be struggling in life with emotional challenges of any kind – that people care.. and through people change is possible. 🙂
