Embrace the Rain

Embrace the Rain
PreCh
I look into the eyes of my children
I see my own reflection there
Like my mother before me
Eternal love shines through our eyes
Ch
When heaven opens a cloud
Run to embrace the rain
Dance again with love in your heart
Hear your loved ones laughter
Remember their smile
Feel the rains gentle embrace

Vs1
Reflections in the mirror of when we once were young
Now we trace the lines that fate has sent our way
Reflections in the window lets us know that time passes
Like the seasons change, our lives travels on

PreCh
I look into the eyes of my children
I see my own reflection there
Like my mother before me
Eternal love shines through our eyes
Ch
When heaven opens a cloud
Run to embrace the rain
Dance again with love in your heart
Hear your loved ones laughter
Remember their smile
Feel the rains gentle embrace

Vs2
Reflections on the water remind us of someone
Either taken too soon or at just the right time
Reflections in our heart heal the sadness there
Dark times never forgotten but eased by time

PreCh
I look into the eyes of my children
I see my own reflection there
Like my mother before me
Eternal love shines through our eyes
Ch
When heaven opens a cloud
Run to embrace the rain
Dance again with love in your heart
Hear your loved ones laughter
Remember their smile
Feel the rains gentle embrace
Vs3
Reflections in our mind ask questions all the time
Some are never answered not known for all time
Reflections in our eyes really can’t fool anyone
Sometimes wish more things in life had been more kind

PreCh
I look into the eyes of my children
I see my own reflection there
Like my mother before me
Eternal love shines through our eyes

When heaven opens a cloud

  1. Love this line: Now we trace the lines that fate has sent our way and Sometimes wish more things in life had been more kind. Totally relate to the thoughts expressed here… and you know I am a big fan of your voice!

  2. Hi Jane, there are some really good ideas here, especially the clever use of the reflection of your children, I like it when you sing the high bits I think in the 2nd part of the chorus. Very nice Jayne.
