I think writing on the comfort side of the equation is the more difficult of two. So much of life today is painfully disturbing. I found your melody and guitar line to be quite comforting on its own. Weave in a positive message and we have a creation worthy of a celebratory second beer. Good work!

I really like the ascending melody with the descending bass line. There are some inspired chord changes! And as always beautifully crafted lyrics.

This is great Alan, though the first section of the melody reminded me too much of ‘something stupid’ (Nancy Sinatra ) which is a shame cos your lyrics and the rest of the song is excellent. Great performance too.
I liked this song, Alan but wanted a little more differentiation between sections; change of rhythm, change of tonality,etc. I always enjoy what you do – you have a good ear for singable melodies. It was nice to hear more of your English accent.
