Cownoy, Take Me With You

As I child I loved Roy Rogers and everything in the cowboy life. I grew up and made different choices, but the return of the Calgary Stampede last year, after two years of pandemic shutdown, got me pumped and I found myself riding a big wave of cowboy love. It opened a deep well into my childhood and this song came out. The pictures are my photos of the Alberta prairie where I grew up, always in sight of the Rocky Mountains…and I’ve come back home to live in Calgary.
