  1. Lyrics:
If I draw a line, and say on that side is yours and this side is mine. Does that make it so? Could that stand the test of time?
If I choose a hue, and say that this looks like me and that looks like you. Does that make it right? Could that justify my crime?
And if I say a name, and I could do whatever I want and they bore the blame. Does that make me strong? Would that make you follow along?
Civilisations rise and fall. Love is found then lost. The few decide the good for all, and the rest are left to count the cost. Mistakes repeated again and again in a never ending spree. Round and round we go, on this fascion show, as the earth sets sail across the silent sea
Ten percent of the folks on this earth control ninety percent of the wealth. And they’re keen to ensure that you must make a choice between food OR warmth OR nominal health. They’ll say on replay that a massacre a day isn’t really as bad as it seems. And to be a good christian on top of your faith you must have a cache of handguns and ar15’s
If I ask for peace, of leaders assembled, the mighty, the meek. Would they heed my call? Would they hear my voice at all?
Civilisations rise and fall. Love is found then lost. The few decide the good for all, and the rest of us are left just counting the cost. Mistakes repeated again and again in a Omnicidal spree. But it matters not, to this pale blue dot, as it swirls its way through its inky pot, in a grand ballet across the silent sea

  2. You’ve summed up so much of what’s wrong with the human race in four and a half minutes. I think it’s inspired and your stripped back arrangement is just right. The lyrics are so tight & clever but never pretentious. They hit my heart & mind. Impressive songwriting & arranging. Your use Space Engine video suits your song perfectly and I love your interpretation of this month’s theme, Kyle.

  3. A different take on the challenge, and all the better for it. I like the juxtaposition of a jaunty happy melody with some scathing lyrics. ‘They’ll say on replay that a massacre a day isn’t really as bad as it seems’ great line. Cheers’

  4. Great Kyle
Being a bit of an old hippie at heart those lyrics speak to meZ
I’d love you to hear a song I wrote and recorded called “Tiny blue Dot’” simulate theme. Great minds eh? ✌️✌️☮️

  5. Sorry for the late comment. I missed this one. Reminds me of the Kinks. Cool performance. Whistling is really effective and melodic. Lyrics just keep you listening to the very end. Enjoyed it very much.
