FAQs
Do my Competition Credits expire?
No.
Your credits never expire. You can use them in 2026, 2027, or any future year of the contest.
Can I gift credits to a friend?
Yes.
You can transfer Contest Entry Credits to any other member — even if they only have a free account.
This makes earlybird bundles a great gift for songwriter friends.
Can I buy more credits later?
You can purchase Early Bird Credits any time in December, but the Early Bird offer ends on December 31st.
From January 1st onward, standard 2026 pricing applies.
How much are 2026 contest entries normally?
From January 1st:
- £30 per entry for non-members
- £20 per entry for Premium Members
Early Bird bundles bring the cost down to £15 per entry, and even as low as £7.90 per entry in the larger bundles.
This exclusive pricing was only available during December 2025.
How many song credits should I buy?
Each song you enter gives you an additional shot on goal.
While entering more songs does not guarantee a win, it increases your chances by giving the judges more opportunities to connect with your work.
Many entrants like to:
- Submit songs in multiple genres
- Enter both new songs and polished favourites
- Submit several ideas to see which resonates most
At the very least, you’ll receive helpful written feedback and build momentum in your creative practice.
Can I use credits across different genres or categories?
Yes.
Each credit allows you to submit any one song, in any genre or country category you qualify for.
Can I submit AI-assisted songs?
Yes.
AI-assisted songs must be entered into the AI Category, with a short note explaining which tools were used.
Will I receive feedback on every song I enter?
Yes.
Every entry receives written feedback from two independent judges — this is one of the most valued parts of the contest experience.
Do I need a paid membership to enter?
No.
A free account is enough to enter the contest and manage your submissions.
Premium Members simply receive a discounted entry price (£20 per song instead of £30).
Can I use my credits immediately?
You’ll see your credits added to your account as soon as payment is processed.
You can redeem them for submissions as soon as the contest opens on January 1st.
What happens after I buy credits?
You’ll receive:
- A confirmation email
- Your credits added to your account (or instructions to assign them if purchasing as a guest)
- Access to your dashboard where you can view, manage, or gift your credits
What if I don’t remember my password?
Not a problem.
You can purchase credits without logging in, then assign them to your account afterwards.
If you’ve forgotten your password, simply use the Reset Password link at login.
