Razale Scott Olivier – vocals. Nick Wyke ~ guitar. Zac Ware – production. Although Razale owns all copyright out of goodwill I would give Nick Wyke a small split should this song be released. Productions costs fully paid to Zac Ware so no split.
Description
I wrote this song for a tall dark handsome Frenchman. I was living on an island, balmy sunsets, cocktails and partying til the early hours. This French fisherman walked into the bar I was working in and caught me hook, line and sinker. That was 1998. Holiday romance huh? In June 2025, we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.
Bio
Razale Scott Olivier is a storyteller and singer~songwriter from North Devon. Bullied as a child, a full time drug addict in her early 20’s and very well acquainted with rejection, learning difficulties and mental health issues throughout her adult life.
Through this journey music has been her therapy and healing. She felt the burn and pushed herself to learn. Graduating with a First in Music Performance, attending songwriting workshops and mentoring from industry professionals.
Sober, clean and healthy, this lady is now in her 50s and on fire. Razale is not afraid to let her raw passion, vulnerability and dark humour shine through in her songs and spellbinding live performances.
Her voice is tender, sharing qualities with Eva Cassidy whilst harnessing the power of legendary divas such as Aretha Franklin as she soars into raunchy vocals. Soul, country, folk and blues are touchstone genres that influence her artistic style. Drawing on the lyrical sensibility of her ultimate musical icon David Bowie, she writes with poetic beauty.
Razale’s songs can only come from someone who has lived a storm of life. Through this darkness comes a fieriness of resilience, hope and wonder that gets into your very core until you feel your soul ignite.

Lyrics
Verse 1
My heart’s not easy to navigate
But when you sailed in from distant shores
That long ago summer of ninety eight
You had my heart bound forever more
Pre Chorus 1
Carried away on a gale force nine
Wild, wild nights
Jump back onboard
If we steer off course
Chorus 1
Your love keeps me alive
Your love keeps me alive
Your love keeps me alive
Your love keeps me alive
Verse 2
You’ll always keep me safe and sound
Pull me up when I fall too deep
I’ll look out for you, there’s no doubt
When faith makes us take that leap
Chorus 2
Bridge
Stay with me until the seas run dry
I know you and me will find a way
Chorus 3
My heart’s not easy to navigate
But when you sailed in from distant shores
That long ago summer of ninety eight
You had my heart bound forever more
Pre Chorus 1
Carried away on a gale force nine
Wild, wild nights
Jump back onboard
If we steer off course
Chorus 1
Your love keeps me alive
Your love keeps me alive
Your love keeps me alive
Your love keeps me alive
Verse 2

Pull me up when I fall too deep
I’ll look out for you, there’s no doubt
When faith makes us take that leap
Chorus 2

I know you and me will find a way
