Lyrics

WORLD GONE MAD
©Adrian F. Roscher 2025

I don’t believe what I see
When I open my eyes
The hills are burning ‘round me
And the smoke fills the skies
Above Mulholland Drive

And I wonder how we’ll survive each day
In a world gone mad in each and every way
All I have to say
It was time to change yesterday

I never thought there could be
Such a fascist cartoon
Runnin’ amok in DC
With that orange buffoon
In the corner-less room

And I wonder how we’ll survive each day
In a world gone mad in each and every way
All I have to say
It was time to change yesterday

Can you imagine a world
Where there’s no more blue skies
And all the cities have drowned
Cause the oceans did rise
It will be no surprise

And I wonder how we’ll survive each day
In a world gone mad in each and every way
All I have to say
It was time to change yesterday
