Bio

Lyrics

Here we are, how bizarre, that so much time has passed,
Who’dve bet, when we first met, we’d a come this far.
Our sisters mulled it over, thought if we just met,
The music would take hold, we’d go solo to duet,
How did they know, sweet schemes on a summer morn.

I was late, to our first date, and picked up the wrong girl.
Who’d’ve of bet, when we first met, it could go so wrong.
After just a minute, I realized my bad,
I came around the corner, I thought that you’d be mad,
But there you were, all smiles in a summer storm.
When we were born. When we were born .

Skip ahead, you in bed, about to deliver.
I don’t mind, I’ll be fine, go and get a bite.
After just a minute, one bite was all I had,
Get up there Mr. Dowling, you’re about to be a Dad,
And there she was, all cries in a summer storm,
When she was born, When she was born.
MUSIC BREAK (1) .
Down the road, a few more years, Jess got her first gig.
12 years old, a voice like gold, she was Sandy girl.
Her little sister watched, maybe I could do that too.
Suddenly we’re thrown into a musical review,
And off they went, so many songs performed,
When they were born, When they were born.
MUSIC BREAK (2)
And so one journey ends, another one begins,
I guess that’s just the way of things, I guess that’s you and me again renewed,
working through, being true, to all we knew,
When we were born. When we were born.
When we were born. When we were born.
