Description

I was dealing with a break up that came out of the blue and picked up the guitar as you do and within a short time, this song had been birthed…
When we recorded it, we came to the studios and found out the engineer’s wife had left him the night before…
We did most of the takes in one go and he loved the song!
PS: They got back together… in time…
I didn’t!

Bio

Lyrics

When Love has Gone T.Marty
My love has gone – my world’s shattered into pieces .
All direction gone, trying to rekindle senses.
You took the light away – and left me cold.
You took my fight away and let me down.

When love has gone what’s the point in simple pleasures.
All direction gone. Weeping over smiling pictures.
You took the light away – and left me cold
You took my fight away and let me down

Chorus:
What went wrong with our song
I’m still hoping that you’ll stay
All night long I miss you baby
I’m just laying here so lonely.

When love has gone – wasting time in pointless gestures
All direction gone, seeking solace from a bottle
You took the light away – and left me cold
You took my fight away and let me down

Chorus Repeat

Repeat verse one

Instrumental verse: ba ba ba…
