Description

Written whilst unemployed and stuck at home and struggling with depression. The song opens with the realisation that something is wrong and probably always has been but I’m either too stuck in my ways to sort it out or just too depressed to care so I just with the flow. The statement ‘There’s No Better Way’ is a sarcastic attempt to do nothing about it and an attempt to say it’s ok when it really isn’t.

Decision made to not fight depression and go with the flow and embrace it as what you are, even though at times you find yourself wondering if this is the right way to handle it.

Bio

Lyrics

There’s no better way
I’m so concerned
About my mental state
I’m staring at the walls every day now
I should let go
But past experience has told me don’t be slow
I should listen to myself, but I don’t know

There goes nothing much it seems
Every day the same
There’s no better way

The floor is bare
The house is crumbling around me. I don’t care.
I should escape this
My head got lost in the fog that I create to guide my soul
At least I’ve got one, have you?
