Description
Yes – I had been increasingly saddened and concerned by the cases of miscarriage of justice which came to prominence over the past 12 months in the UK. The examples of The Post Office scandal ( where hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters were wrongly convicted of theft and fraud – several were imprisoned , some took their own lives) , followed by Mr Malkinson – imprisoned for 17 years for a crime for which he was eventually exonerated but the police /CPP had ‘sat on’ DNA evidence which would have freed him 10 years previously. There is likely to be another terrible miscarriage of justice exposed soon. This song is for them.

Bio
Although.I was a keen performer in school productions ( especially musicals) I had a long break from university up to my late thirties when I joined a band , all members of which worked with me at my local hospital. The band ( BandAge ) played covers of 70s 80s and 90s pop songs mainly , at charity and private functions. I have always been interesting in songwriting , and had many ideas for lyrics and melodies in my head . However , I could only play harmonica , accordion and basic keyboard, this made if difficult for me to be confident about chord progressions and harmonies etc – so when I had sketched out a basic song structure ,. I would send it to one of the other band members

All of humanity fails
