Bio

Lyrics

When I grew up
This I didn’t know
That I was sure to reap
The things that I had sown
Everyone I’ve known
Has got a thriving soul
But these are things
I was told but seldom shown

As we run along
Can we learn that old new song?
That we’re freed ourselves
As we learn to love someone else

When I grew up
This I couldn’t see
The things that they would say
They wouldn’t all believe

So I will seek the best for you
And I will try and cling to the truth
And colors come with many hues
Like that old song that still sounds brand new

As we run along
Can we learn that old new song?
That I was greedy as hell
As I yearned to be loved by someone else
Run along
Can we learn that old new song?
We’re freed ourselves
As we learn to love someone else
