Bio

Lyrics

That Broadway Feeling
Verse 1
The sights, the sounds, the lights, the atmosphere
Before you realise, it draws you near
The music and the crowds create a buzz
You don’t think it gets to you, but it does

Chorus 1
That Broadway feeling’s creeping up real slow
And once it gets you, it just won’t let you go
And if you want to know how to get there
Catch the wave that’s leaving from Times Square
Just go with the flow and float downstream
And if you think you can sing as well as
Frankie V and his Jersey fellas
Don’t you ever give up on that dream

Verse 2
The singer’s heart is still set on the prize
Till then he’ll serve more burgers and more fries
And though he just can’t play this here guitar
He’ll make it, yes he’s gonna be a star

Chorus 2
That Broadway feeling’s creeping up on you
And when it hits you, you’ll be sucked in too
The dancer prays his hopes aren’t diminished
But he can’t practise until he’s finished
Toting all these bags to the 14th floor
The writer serves some more wine and spritzer
Until she finally wins that Pulitzer
Then she’ll walk right out that hotel door
Hotel door…
Hotel door…..
