Bio

Lyrics

The gentle touch that dried our tears,
A sense of hope to conquer fear,
the sacrifices through the years,
the reasons why we’re standing here.

The crumpled papers at my feet,
every sentence incomplete,
sometimes a river runs so deep,
the place where love resides,
and so I wade in shallow streams,
for words cannot confide.

I know that there’s much more to write,
A phrase to catch your hallowed light,
a thousand memories taking flight,
like scattered stars that fill the sky.

Yet all my instincts cannot find,
a sacred verb, a truth filled rhyme,
that sums a lifetime in a line.
It brings me to my knees.

Sometimes a river runs so deep,
Sometimes a river runs so deep,
Sometimes a river runs so deep,
that words cannot confide,
the love for you inside.
