Description
It’s a true story, but actually it was my wife and I who meet up with some close friends at the Phoenix airport to take a trip to the Grand Canyon. We got hit by a snowstorm in the mountains. When I got back from that trip I had to write a song about it, and turned it into a love song!
Bio
Jason Crane is a seasoned singer/songwriter who has performed and recorded throughout the Midwest and California. He has worked closely with close friend and mix engineer Craig Bauer.
Lyrics
Got off the plane from Minnesota.
Met at baggage claim in Arizona
Haven’t seen you since we were 17
When you moved away, it wasn’t meant to be
Back together, to hike the Grand
I grabbed your bag, you took my hand
Headed to the Canyon on 17
Got stuck in snowstorm in-between
Now we’re Snowbound in Arizona
In short sleeves in a rented Corolla
Cars lined up, there’s no getting through
It’s not how I planned, my time with you
Car was sliding, from side to side
I got out to push, but the tires wouldn’t bite
So we just laughed and shared stories
As love returned, on a road in-between
Now we’re Snowbound in Arizona
In short sleeves in a rented Corolla
Cars lined up, there’s no getting through
To stay warm, I had to hold you—-
You had to hold me
I had to hold you
Now we’re Snowbound in Arizona
In short sleeves in a rented Corolla
Cars lined up, there’s no getting through
It’s not how I planned, my time with you
Got off the plane from Minnesota
Met at baggage claim in Arizona
Headed to the Canyon on 17
Fell in love somewhere in-between
