It is track 3 of our album LITTLE INCIDENTS under the band name JAGGY EDGES…available on Spotify
Bio
Jaggy Edges are brothers Jim and Joe Graham. They have been playing together ever since Joe got a guitar for Christmas and Jim learned to play it (Joe never did). All the time Jim was learning guitar, they both played and harmonised in their bedroom creating, even then, a sound that sometimes only siblings can create. They finally got together with another pair of brothers, Iain and Colin McCaig to form the band October performing around Glasgow from1976 – 1980 whilst Joe and Iain attended Glasgow School of Art.
In all the years they have been writing and performing together, they have attempted to bring their songs to life for others to hear, enjoy and hopefully perform for themselves. “We have never really got round to doing it properly until now. We owe a lot to Colin and Iain McCaig for setting us on the road back then. (Don’t think the band has broken up yet though!)”
They finally have two album collections of songs that they are proud of and that do the songs justice. More to come in the coming year.

Lyrics
The anger rumbles on from such a long time gone
And such a long time left to go
The colour’s all been drained, bitter tears have stained
Whatever there was left to show
The deepest holes were dug,
the sense to pull the rug
From undercover ecstasy
It’s all so very well, still a lot to tell
Still a little left to see
Let’s play scissors, paper, stone
Let somebody win and we can all go home
Scissors, paper, stone, Scissors, paper, stone
Tables need to turn, bridges left to burn
The ashes scattered equally
A former heavy hand, crumbling like sand
Through fingers pointed guiltily
Keeping that in mind, expect a lucky find
In perfect strangers yet to meet
Further down the road, lessening the load
Take the weight off lonely feet
Chorus
Smash the crystal ball, push or let it fall
The future’s on it’s own at last
Bring it on and on, take whatever comes
Or leave it in the recent past
Chorus
And such a long time left to go
The colour’s all been drained, bitter tears have stained
Whatever there was left to show
The deepest holes were dug,
the sense to pull the rug
From undercover ecstasy
It’s all so very well, still a lot to tell
Still a little left to see
Let’s play scissors, paper, stone
Let somebody win and we can all go home
Scissors, paper, stone, Scissors, paper, stone
Tables need to turn, bridges left to burn
The ashes scattered equally
A former heavy hand, crumbling like sand
Through fingers pointed guiltily
Keeping that in mind, expect a lucky find
In perfect strangers yet to meet
Further down the road, lessening the load
Take the weight off lonely feet
