A young boy’s mad, romantic thoughts and moments in a heartbreaking love affair with a more mature lady!

I love writing songs and would love my songs to be played and recorded by others whenever possible. I have rarely played live, and write solo in my ‘music’ room at home.

Lyrics

Say You Don’t Need Love Anymore

Please be polite in your answer, dear lady
For you’re placing my heart on the line
Your curtain of lies on my window of love
Has lain this decision on our lives

Oh, I know you won’t be tied to one soul
I was foolish to dream ever so
Just promise me one thing before you go
I’m a young boy, say you don’t need love anymore
To a young boy, say you don’t need love anymore

I walk in the evenings, the wind whips my collar
I have worn this December too long
I call out in the morning, you ride past my window
Clad in the lace of a girl

Oh, I was foolish to dream ever so
My visions are best left untold
Just promise me one thing before you go
I’m a young boy, say you don’t need love anymore
To a young boy, say you don’t need love anymore

This dark horse of sorrow stands here before you
The mistress whose memory lingers on
In nets of deceit, and waves of true love
That I felt would return you to my shore

Oh, I was foolish to dream ever so
For Time played your game, don’t you know?
Just promise me one thing before you go
I’m a young boy, say you don’t need love anymore
To a young boy, say you don’t need love anymore
