Bio

I am 73 Years young and have been a Singer/Songwriter since I began my musical journey at the age of 13. I played in bands in the 70’s and recorded a 4 song demo in a 24 track pro studio in 1981. I live in a small town and began concentrating on home recording starting in the 80’s and have evolved in that pursuit until today. I have an album of songs on all the streaming sites called “The Whisper of Souls” and am close to adding a second album in 2025. It will be called “One More Dance”.

Lyrics

OVER TIME

HERE I SET ANOTHER LONELY NIGHT
TRYING TO MAKE SOME SENSE OUT OF THIS LIFE
I’M LOOKING AT THIS PICTURE ON THE WALL
OF YOU AND I SOME TWENTY FIVE YEARS GONE

WHERE DID WE GO WRONG
WHEN DID THIS FEELING DIE
WE MUST HAVE CARRIED ON
THOUGH SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT
SO IN THE END WE FOUND THAT OUR LOVE
THOUGH ONCE A TRUE LOVE
HAD FADED OVER TIME

THE IMAGE IN THE PICTURE IS OF YOU
A LOOK AT ME THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUR YOUTH
AND I RETURN YOUR LOOK WITH A SMILE
IF ONLY WE COULD GO THERE FOR A WHILE

WHERE DID WE GO WRONG
WHEN DID THIS FEELING DIE
WE MUST HAVE CARRIED ON
THOUGH SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT
SO IN THE END WE FOUND THAT OUR LOVE
THOUGH ONCE A TRUE LOVE
HAD FADED OVER TIME

  1. Very nice, very original, surprising changes, I like how and when you pull in other accent instrumentation which surprisingly takes us elsewhere, your surprise landing transitions m like major 7th to minor landing but maintaining mid to upper movements in motion not lost, well, very captivating to me
