ONE IN A MILLION

Here’s to the Loners, the Rogues and the Stoners
And those unaware of their worth
The Randoms, Abandoned and Those who crash landed
Somewhere other than earth
Here’s to the Rotten, the Lost, the Downtrodden,
And the ones who we so easily forget
The Homeless, the Helpless, the Hostile, the Hermits,
And the ones who’ve slipped through the net.

But we’ve all got a song to sing when we’re able
We’ve all got something to bring to the table
No matter how humble, no matter how proud
We’re one in a million – but one in a crowd

Here’s the Misfits, the Too Scared to Risk Its
The Vagrants, the Villains, the Vain
The Heroes, the Felons, and those plagued by demons,
The Arrogant and the Ashamed
There’s those who wear sackcloth and those who wear crowns
And some we’re too scared to avoid
False Prophets who profit from all of our pockets
Whose pedestals should be destroyed

For sometimes we’re Rejects, we all have our defects
And sometimes we’re Way out of Line
For we can be Users, so often we’re Losers
We’re not perfect all of the time
Sometimes we’re Blamers, and sometimes we’re Shamers
With egos all polished then crowned
And sometimes we’re Saints, but so often we ain’t
And our halos they slip/crash to the ground

But we’ve all got a song to sing when we’re able
We’ve all got something to bring to the table
No matter how humble, no matter how proud
We’re one in a million – but we’re lost in a crowd

But we’ve all got a song to sing
And we’ve all got something to bring
Yes we’ve all got a song to sing
And we’ve all got something to bring
