Lyrics

Walking through the day it kinda feels like rain
My shoes are really muddy and the air it hurts my brain
The sky is just a shade of a color in between
Black and white and gray and a hazy shade of green

There’s a moon in the sky, at least what I’ve been told
But there’s nothing there to see, I guess the moons been sold
No matter what it cost, someone paid the price
I heard it sold before, maybe once or twice

I hear a ringing sound of an old church bell
Where it’s coming from is kind of hard to tell..

I’m tryin’ to find my way out of this old town
It’s been hours since the time, the sun went down

The silence overtakes the night’s heavy breath
If I think about it now, that’s all the night has left
I think I see a light of a distant star
Never mind I’m wrong, no way to see that far.

I hear a ringing sound of an old church bell
Where it’s coming from is kind of hard to tell..

I’m tryin’ to find my way out of this old town
It’s been hours since the time, the sun went down

It’s a mystery wrapping all around
Every breath I take, It’s like lost and found

Even in the quiet of a moment like this
I hear the echos of a universal hiss
Dangling from a thread or a single string
Nothing much to see, not much of anything

I hear a ringing sound of an old church bell
Where it’s coming from is kind of hard to tell..

I’m tryin’ to find my way out of this old town
It’s been hours since the time, the sun went down
