Description
I was sitting around the fire one night with a beer in my Adirondack chair enjoying some music. It occurred to me how many other people were probably doing the same exact thing but nobody has written a song about it. Plenty of songs about bars, beaches and 5 o’clock somewhere. We needed a good campfire song.

Lyrics
That Ol’ Campfire
A couple half broken adirondack chairs
The smell of the smoke and a couple beers
Ain’t nothing like being around the campfire
Bring a six string and six pack each
Out in the woods or out on the beach
Ain’t nothing like being around the fire
Let’s drink, Let’s sing, and if you get the chance
Save some time for a little romance
and let the flames go higher, and higher and higher
Nothing like a little smoke in you face
Reminiscing with friends about the good old days
Just sitting around that old campfire
Smores to your left, girls to your right
Sometimes it ends with a little fistfight
You just never know what might transpire
Let’s drink, let’s dance and simply do your thing
Belt out whatever song you sing
And the flames get higher and higher and higher
They say Nothing good happens after midnight
Unless it’s a campfire kind o’ night
So grab your beer and grab your girl
And just let the night unfurl
So let the flames get higher and higher and higher
and let the flames get higher and higher and higher
and let the flames get higher and higher and higher
So sit your ass back down in the adirondack chair
Grab yourself just one more beer
And let the fire take it all away
Let your friend do his thing with that old six string
Let your voice be heard even if you can’t sing
And leave your worries for another day
So let’s drink let’s sing let’s all do our thing
You can be the queen and I’ll be the king
and let the flames go higher, and higher and higher
As we all sit around that Ol campfire
A couple half broken adirondack chairs
The smell of the smoke and a couple beers
Ain’t nothing like being around the campfire
