Bio
Lyrics
With a tear in her eye, she turned and said
I guess I’m that book you never read
Was it my face on the cover?
Was the preface much too long?
That you dropped me for another
And I’m left to carry on
They’d barely scraped the surface
There was so much more to share
At least a dozen or more chapters
That would take them who knows where
Missing all the good bits
All the layers to reveal
Quickly skipping to the last page
Taking coffee at the meal
All she got was…
I’m so confused, you got no reviews
I got nothing here to help me choose
You got no recommendations
Or good vibrations
Got no reasons to pick you
No inclinations
I’m so confused, you got no reviews
I got nothing here to help me choose
You got no recommendations
Or good vibrations
Got no reasons to pick you
No inclinations
She thought about the stories
Of the past she had to tell
And the sequel that was brimming
With more twists and turns than hell
She’d hoped they’d be together
For the future now and later
So part two could change direction
With a joint, strong navigator
But the plot lost motivation
And the cast was down to one
Then the epilogue came fast
Shot like a bullet from a gun
Missing all the good bits
All the layers to reveal
Quickly skipping to the last page
Taking coffee at the meal
I’m so confused, you got no reviews
I got nothing here to help me choose
You got no recommendations
Or good vibrations

With a smile in her eyes, she turned and said
It seems I’m that book you’d take to bed
And you’d slide me undercover
And you’d keep me all night long
But you dropped me for another
So you’re left to carry on
The years had passed so slowly
She’d moved on and found success
Gained some fame and popularity
Bestseller by the press
Savouring the good bits
All the layers to reveal
Slowly reading every last page
Time for coffee at the meal
I was so confused, you had no reviews
