Description
I marvel at how we are all the same yet each one of us is so different. We all have an essence, a fingerprint, a voice that is uniquely our own and my love has always been singing and using my voice to express myself. This song is also about dreams and fulfilling them at all costs.

Lyrics
No One Can Teach What You Got by Gillian Harwin
Back in the day flying my kite as a kid
Music moved me like nothing else did
I closed my eyes and I dreamed a little dream
Opened up my ears, my mind and soul
And let the music move through me
You’ve got to listen more than you speak
Because what you got no one can teach
No one can teach what you got
No one can teach what you got
I wanted to sing, I wanted to dance (boogie woogie)
I wanted to create, I wanted a chance
A chance to express what I feel inside
So I took that chance and now I feel so alive
We are all the same
Even though each and every one of us
Got a different name and face
But the magic of our souls
It’s what makes me me and makes you you
So open up and let life unfold
Cuz no one can teach what you got
No one can teach what you got
No one can teach what you got
Yo, no one can teach what you got
Whether you play it cool or drop it like its hot
We’re all very unique in our very own way
The things that make us special
Nobody can take away
To find what’s right just look inside
Open up your ears your heart and soul and free your mind
Your ass will follow, you will find what’s true
That which makes you custom nobody can teach to you
We are all the same
Even though each and every one of us
Got a different name and face
But the magic of our souls
It’s what makes me me and makes you you
So open up and let life unfold
Cuz no one can teach what you got
All grown up now and my kite’s still flying high
So many life lessons…so many tears I’ve cried But now life’s moving on one moment at a time
Everyday another chance for me to make my dreams come to life
You’ve got to listen more than you speak
Because what you got no one can teach
No one can teach what you got
No one can teach what you got
Back in the day flying my kite as a kid
