Bio

I began playing guitar at age 11. Formed garage bands with friends in middle and high school. Played gigs in college. Received some college radio airplay and music was featured in a compilation of NC bands in the ’90’s. About 15 years ago, I sold all my instruments and recording equipment save for my Strat and Fender Twin and didn’t play or write for about 10 years. I picked it back up in 2021 during Covid and my wife’s cancer battle. I’ve been writing ever since. My debut EP “Coastal Chase” launches 01/15/2025 and features performances by members of Third of Never, The Veldt, and The Mayflies (USA).

Lyrics

Maybe one day
I’ll own a ship in the harbor
Until then I guess I’ll stay
At this walk-up in Beaufort
From my old balcony
When I saw her cross the street
to the waterfront
Funny having nothing never hurt me this much

It looks like her future
just sailed in with the tide
And I admit I can only offer
I lifetime full of smiles
I bet the people on the street
and the roses and the bees
All know it’s true
I should be the one leaving Beaufort with you

Save me from all the pain
of a life spent getting over you
I swear that if you leave here now I’ll manage
but watching you go will be the hardest thing I’ll ever do
