Description

I have witnessed something like this and offer a very human condition. When we just enjoy the moment with no expectation, we often find we get more out of the experience than if we worry about the longevity or ‘correctness’ of it

Bio

The character Cinjin Artesia is one of two characters I create and perform music as. The idea is to create a persona and character habits that are consistent. Like acting really. Cinjin is the crooner that harkens back to an earlier age of srory tellers with European and English themes

Lyrics

She was a lonley maiden fair
With long fine strands of golden hair
And eyes that sparkle with laissez-faire
A careful yet careless femme so rare

I but a simple poet ‘not’
Symptoms and passing fancies wrought
Frivolous ramblings of time forgot
A lesser of suitors I couldnt have thought

( Chorus 1)
We stroll through the gardens
And gave no pardons
For our gaze was rifled with sweet despair
A maze of contentment
A sweet passing glance
The peril we circle is this doomed romance

I loved her then, I love her now
Although she hates the words I vow
The vowels and streams of consonants
Sadly self convicting laments

She fell in love with ideas of when
With many an un-contributing man
She fell in love with what could have been
Alas I hate, Im but one of them

(Chorus 2)
Well we strolled through the gardens
And gave no pardons
Our gaze was rifled with sweet despair
Though as we knew, our troubles lay before us

…..we’s risk the forest of….
