Bio

I am 73 Years young and have been a Singer/Songwriter since I began my musical journey at the age of 13. I played in bands in the 70’s and recorded a 4 song demo in a 24 track pro studio in 1981. I live in a small town and began concentrating on home recording starting in the 80’s and have evolved in that pursuit until today. I have an album of songs on all the streaming sites called “The Whisper of Souls” and am close to adding a second album in 2025. It will be called “One More Dance”.

Lyrics

HIGHWAY MAN

IS THERE SOME PLACE WHERE I CAN
REST MY WEARY BONES
I THOUGHT THIS ROAD I’VE TRAVELLED
WOULD SURELY BRING ME HOME

BUT SOME YEARS HAVE SLIPPED ON BY
SINCE I THOUGHT I KNEW MY WAY
NOW EVERY ROAD I’VE TAKEN
SEAMS TO LEAD BACK TO THIS PLACE

I’M JUST A HIGHWAY MAN
I SING MY BLUES WHERE I CAN
IT’S BEEN A LONG, LONG TIME
BUT I’LL FIND SOME PEACE BEFORE I DIE

MAY BE SOME TRUTH IN KNOWING
THAT HEAVEN HAS A GATE
SOME SAY YOU’LL ONLY FIND IT
BY TRUSTING IN YOUR FAITH

BUT I FEEL MY SPIRIT STIRRING
DEEP WITHIN MY SOUL
WHENEVER I AM SEARCHING
FOR ANOTHER ROAD

I’M JUST A HIGHWAY MAN
I SING MY BLUES WHERE I CAN
IT’S BEEN A LONG, LONG TIME
BUT I’LL FIND SOME PEACE BEFORE I DIE
